I adored how rooted in reality the movie was kept, compared to the comics. Notably, it's a bit hard to make things realistic in any adaption of a comic book, and sometimes not worth it, but it completely was, for this. The Joker being some normal guy with make up instead of a dude that fell in a huge tank of toxic stuff is way cooler. And that his face wasn't so neatly done.. wow. No "joker gas" or what ever, no guns with flags that say "bang".
But it was Heath's Joker that completely made the movie. Batman... eh. Doesn't translate well. He became sort of a prop for the Joker's plot ot move on, while it would normally seem the other way around. I found myself rooting for the Joker, just to see more screen time for the guy!
He was.. Oh, man. Can't even describe it. A new level of Joker. Terrifying, not just some loony bin with some tricks up his sleeve. He played him as a genius psychopath. Made it obvious, at times, that he knew just how nuts he was, but then turned around and acted like he was completely sane. And hilarious even, at certain moments! Man. I was thrilled to find that all that talk for an award for him isn't just because he's dead. He really, really earned it.
I've been working on this since the second time I saw it- The first time I felt like I shouldn't meddle with the genius Heath had done, like I couldn't do it justice, some how. But I saw it a second time and couldn't resist any longer. I had to do something to show my appreciation for his work- and the for that awesome character of the Joker. I mean, before, he was just that one scary guy that popped up here and there when I watched a bit of the Batman cartoons. Now he's.. Man. Awesome.
All in all, I've been picking at this for exactly a week, now. Still, I've had work almost everyday. But it was probably good for me to keep coming back to it, so I wouldn't make the mistakes I do when I get caught up and do it all in one sitting. Not that the knife came out to well, anyway. I never could draw them just right. Otherwise I'm happy with everything, save for that arm and hand on the left, but I think they're passable. The hand on the left makes up for it, anyway.
Anyway. here's the Joker, waiting for Batman with in some sort of trap- specifiaclly, more oil drums to be blown to bits. ...It's easy background. He's having fun messing with that Batman plush. I figure he nicked it from some store.
Some one give me a better title for this. I was thinking one of his nicknames, other than The Clown Prince of Crime. I dont' remember any, though. ><
Wow thats very good. Well done. Keep up the hard work!!

This is gorgeous work, my friend! I mean.. just LOOK at the all that detail! The wrinkles in his face... the stripes on his pants... the messy makeup... just wow. This is really an amazing portrayal of Heath's Joker. I'm very, very impressed. Keep up the lovely work!
